  1. Today, we’re talking about how to hit a 5 wood. We’re focussing on how to hit a 5 wood off the tee. You want to hit a 5 wood off the tee when it be a dog-leg left or right par 4, or you really want to hit your driver and go through the fairway.

Setting up to hit a 5 wood off the tee.

Gonna put the ball in a firmer stance, just off our left foot (if you’re a right handed golfer). Tee the ball just barely off the ground. We don’t want to tee the ball up too high or we could risk the possibility of hitting the tee and popping the ball straight up in the air.

We want our feet to be a bit wider than shoulder-width apart for better balance.

We also want to make sure our tempo’s good, we don’t want to swing too fast which is gonna cause those air shots.

That’s how you hit a 5 wood off the tee. Use these tips to improve your game and shoot lower scores.

  2. Matt, do you remember the distance you hit this shot? I’m a senior (70)ย lefty that hits my driver about 210 yards. What distance might I get out of my AeroBurner 5 wood?
