When faced with a tight tee shot, most people's natural reaction isn't to reach for the big stick, but sometimes, that's the correct play. So how do you do it?
It's important to be specific. Pick out a small target in the distance and bring that back to an intermediate target to help with alignment – that is crucial. This will reduce your misses so even your bad shots aren't as destructive.
Finally, don't fight your natural shot shape, but if you tend to put a lot of curve on the ball, it's a good idea to try and straighten the flight slightly.
